Included as part of our Inventory History suite, this report is designed to replicate the Shopify report and give you a point-in-time snapshot of your historical inventory.
This report lets you see the total stock and cost-based value for your entire inventory at the end of the prior month:
Here are a few terms to be familiar with to understand the Month-end Inventory Snapshot report, numbered in the screenshots (above):
**1.) Tracked, equal to, true (FILTER):**This filter ensures that only products you have enabled inventory tracking for show up in the report. Best to leave this alone.
**2.) Available (end):**The number of units at the end of the time period. This is determined by the last date in the selected range.
**3.) Total cost (end):**The total cost at the end of the time period.
This is determined by the cost of the item (Cost) multiplied by the number of Available units.
Like all Report Toaster reports, these reports are fully customizable - so you can adjust the date range, add/remove columns, introduce a filter, or change the sort to suit your individual needs.
